This tour is designed for experienced self guided groups looking to explore Ice Creek Lodge’s complex terrain. Spend this self guided experience in some of the best north-facing slopes in world-class terrain. Surrounded by stunning couloirs, natural pipes, broad faces, and powder-hoarding bowls. The alpine terrain at Ice Creek Lodge is expansive and unique. Offering weeks during the shoulder season months of December and April.
Situated at 1850 meters, Ice Creek Lodge provides endless skiing terrain for an unforgettable self guided experience close to home.
Groups are required to provide a backcountry skiing ‘resume’ prior booking.

Your first night is on us at The Col Guesthouse in Slocan BC where we will meet you prior to heading out the next morning to the helicopter staging area in Burton BC.
Then 7 nights at Ice Creek Lodge and all our lodge amenities. Build by mountain people for mountain people. Relax in our cozy custom lodge after a long day of shredding steep couloirs and powder bowls. Enjoy our wood-heated sauna and mountain style bucket shower before settling down to amazing backcountry cuisine, good tunes, lodge magazines, board games, or your book.
Four shared, private bedrooms, comfortably provide sleep for 2-4 people in each. The rustic style shower and wood-fired sauna house are a tranquil space to unwind. Three stall composting outhouses, each with the glorious views of the Valhallas, allow you to catch up on some reading in style
This tour includes all helicopter transportation from our staging area in Burton, BC to Ice Creek Lodge, return flights included. Our scheduled flights are weekly and run every Friday. We highly recommend giving yourself plenty of travel time leaving the staging site after your trip as mountain weather can be unpredictable.

Your hosts have attained WSBC level III OFA certification or better. All cooks are professional with Food Safe and basic first aid.
